Greetings to you and thank you very much for viewing my website!

I am just an ordinary chap but with a passion for digital photography.  In my day job I work for a specialist software and training organisation which supplies bespoke software and services to the UK Retail Motor Industry.  This takes up most of my time, but I always make more time to squeeze in some photography sessions and I take my Pentax with me pretty much everywhere I go.

My photographic style encompasses a wide range of subjects and I like to try different genres rather than becoming entrenched in one particular style.  I particularly like wildlife shots, whether they be of birds, animals or plants.  Macro is a passion too.  I like my pictures to look clean, colourful and contrasty and I always try to make attractive and delicate compositions.

I use Pentax kit, plus some lenses from other manufacturers.  Why Pentax?  Well, I've always owned Pentax or Pentax compatible film SLR's and I love the image quality that the Pentax DSLR's deliver.  Pentax cameras are also light, well built and easy to use, as well as being far better value for money than their Canon / Nikon equivalents.

There's  a massive range of compatible K-mount and M42 lenses out there with superb image quality and available at very reasonable cost.  Needless to say I've bought a few of these items and you can see how they work in my pictures!
